Creating a Healing Space to Enhance Mind, Body and Spiritual Health.

Ann has worked for me on two occasions. The first time was when my husband and I divorced and she helped bring color back in my life. Ann used a lot of red and yellow which resonated with me as I was going through a transition period in my life. It was comforting to know that Ann really cared about my well-being. She also presented with a professional manner and always had a smile to offer when I was feeling discouraged. Ann helped me a lot- even more so than her job description as an interior decorator. The second time Ann worked for me was recently with my fourteen-year-old daughter. My daughter has an eating disorder and Ann completely transformed her room using lava lamps, color and diffusers with scents that were comforting to my daughter. She worked alongside my daughter who can be difficult at times as she is a teenager. My daughter could not thank Ann enough for the beautiful transformation of her room. My daughter spends a lot of time in her little paradise and shows off her room to others. She never used to care about her room but now keeps it clean and fresh and is very thankful. When I was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness my soul intuitively knew that things needed to change in my life.  One of the things I realized was that I would need a healing space in my home if I wanted to continue to exist on this planet.  Luckily I knew Ann, whom I call my home decorator extraordinaire!  With her expert knowledge and intuitive sense she assisted me in selecting healing colours that comforted and inspired me throughout my cancer treatments and healing journey.  We transformed my family room, bedroom and even created a personal healing room just for me where I could meditate, practice yoga and learn to be at ease.  She has been an inspiration, knowing just what was needed to support me, to boost my spirits and to empower me.  I count my blessing every day that she was there as my guide and I am reminded of the beauty of life each time I step into one of my sanctuaries of healing in my home.  She helped me discover the importance of beauty and colour in our lives and the need for self-nurturance.  Ann won’t just transform your space; she will touch your soul, which is her gift.

When I first met Ann, I had finished months of cancer treatments in April and had a relationship breakup in July. I decided that I wanted my condo to have a complete makeover to help me move on from the two events. I started with redecorating the living room, dining room, kitchen, and main bathroom.  She helped me pick new furniture, paint colours, accessories etc. and came up with a solution for my challenging living room window. She also had great contractor who did the work. Her help was invaluable. In 2015, I completed my changes with a total renovation of the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Ann was there to help again with her expertise in colours and style. I now have a beautiful, calm, peaceful home. No matter where I am, I always look forward to coming home.  Thank you Ann for all your help, style and expertise, I couldn’t have done it without you.

My daughter finally moved out and I took over her bedroom.  I needed a quiet space of my own because of the severe migraines I get regularly.  I asked Ann to assist me in decorating my bedroom.  I wanted to do an all grey room but Ann encouraged me to add an accent colour.  She found a knitted throw that had multi colours of teals, turquoise and greys which inspired the colour of the cushions with different textures and the teal and grey pictures.  With a few various accessories my bedroom has been transformed into my own oasis.  Thanks Ann for creating the perfect space.
